First Steps
It is during her last year at high school in 2002 that she started mixing, along with DJ Hostil (Hip Hop) and Sven Love (Resident Cheers). A few months later, while on holidays in Mexico, she met two event organizers who offer her to be the supporting act for the evening of the coop of DJs Africanism (Matt Samo and Bibi) in front of 6.000 people. It was so successful that Maïa became resident at the Pacha in Naples, Italy. And that’s when it all really started…

Maia K in Paris
Little by little she became well known in Parisian night events. She has been performing in the most famous clubs of the city, such as the Red Light, the 287, the Folie's Pigalle, the Loco, the Fabrique, the Monte Cristo, and the Milliardaire where she is still resident on Tuesday nights. Soon, Maïa K decided to export her sound which is dynamic, sensuous and eclectic at the same time. She is among the rare Djs who can perform both garage or house mixes, progressive electro or Tech House.

Maia K Abroad
Allowing to strong demand abroad for more than a year, Maïa has been performing more abroad than in France. She’s been mixing in Holland for Queens Day, in Switzerland, in Italy, in Luxemburg, in Germany, in Tunisia, in the Islands of Reunion and Guadeloupe, in St Marino, in Mexico, at Acapulco, at Las Vegas, at Tokyo, in Brazil, in Corsica, etc.

Aged 22, Maïa has already performed with renowned Djs such as the fantastic Paul Johnson, Wally Lopez (resident of the Pacha in Ibiza), David Vendetta, Didier Sinclair, Darshen (Metro Area), Naked Music, Warrio, Fabrice Mondor; etc.
Today Maïa runs her own radio program, ‘World Session’, broadcasted on about fifty radios throughout the world. In this 2-hour-long program, Maïa receives the best French and foreign Djs (Laurent Wolf, Charles Shilling, Greg Cerrone, Freddy, Paul Johnson...).
Maïa K belongs to the coop of Djs Shake, along with five other members (Vincent Giumelli, Tito, Antone (Queen), D Cooper, Nathan).

Maïa is sponsored by two brands – Ecler (turntables) and Orzone (who also clothes Laurent Wolf, David Vendetta, Rlp, Julien Créance). Maïa has also started as a producer with the issuing of her first maxi ‘Travel’ where she also does the vocals.
